👋 Introduction
Pawsitive Health needed a single digital home to manage its most valuable assets: the people who provide care and the patients who receive it.
I designed an admin dashboard that lets staff track employees, manage training, and monitor patient vitals and medication — all in one clean, data-rich interface.
The goal: cut manual work, reduce errors, and give the team a real-time snapshot of the entire operation.
🎯 Project Goal
The goal was to design a dashboard that could:
Create a central hub to track, manage, and forecast employees and orders.
Enable administrators to view and update detailed employee records with ease.
Provide real-time access to patient (Service User) health data and medications.
My Role
I designed the full UX/UI experience:
Research → Wireframes → Visual Design → Interactive Prototype
Plus, I Collaborated with the client’s (HR lead and clinical supervisors) for iterative feedback.
I spoke with HR admins and nursing staff to understand pain points in juggling employee data and patient records.
Key findings:
Staff wasted time switching between HR and medical apps.
Critical patient vitals weren’t updated quickly enough for decision-making.
HR needed search + filter features to instantly find employee training status or ID details.
Outcome
One-stop system replaced multiple tools, cutting admin time and reducing manual errors.
HR can onboard employees faster and instantly check training completion.
Medical staff now access up-to-date patient vitals and prescriptions in seconds.
Reflection
Learned how to balance medical-grade detail with a friendly, scannable interface.
Sharpened my skills in complex information architecture and data visualization.
Final Thoughts
Designing this dashboard proved that clarity is everything when lives and jobs are on the line. I’m excited to see how it empowers the Pawsitive Health team to deliver even better care.
